The series mostly revolves around a for-profit zoo-owning Oklahoma man naked Joe Exotic, a self-described “gay, gun-toting cowboy with a mullet.” With nothing else to do these days, we’ve all decided that this is the man we’re going to allow into our homes, and while I’d like do pretend that I’m above Tiger King, did I literally binge the entire series on Saturday? Yes orificer. My defense? The men featured in Tiger King are, inexplicably, insanely hot. Like super de duper hot. Like are you sure this is some shithole in Oklahoma and not a secluded San Diego beach? Because mamaw this is Sean Cody.
Joe Exotic has the skin tone of Donald Trump, the demeanor of Buffalo Bill, and the haircut of a Myrtle Beach Applebee’s barfly, and yet he’s able to rope in some super hot men. And what’s really crazy is that he’s a gay polygamist, so he has multiple husbands at once. His husband Travis Maldonado tragically ::SPOILER ALERT:: dies in intensely dramatic fashion on the series. He was 6′ 6″, had an amazing lean and ripped bod, a striking face, a super sexy twang, and apparently huge hands and feet. To quote a tiger “Rawr.”

While Joe’s relationship with the gorgeous Travis might seem like an anomaly at first, after Travis’ passing he gets with another super hottie, Dillon. As the increasingly unbelievable events in Tiger King begin to unfold we realize that these big cat owners have a cult-like draw, and that Travis (as well as another one of Joe’s husbands, John Finlay, who you can tell was probably cute before the meth (To paraphrase Hilary Duff “If you can’t do the meth, then get out of the equation)) were never gay in the first place. In fact they were sleeping with women on Joe’s property. They were however lured by Joe’s unrelenting personality, and drugs.

But Dillon, according to some light Instagram sleuthing, seems to be actually gay, or at least bisexual. Much like Travis, Dillon is a down-home country boy fantasy, but unlike Travis he appears to be attracted to men. I’m making this leap because back in 2017 – the same year he got with Joe Exotic – Dillon posted a picture of Diplo to Instagram with the caption “#MCM” (man crush Monday) and a heart emoji. Also he did gymnastics when he was younger and he posts tons of pics with female friends. Stereotyping is bad but also useful when you’re trying to find out of a random dude from a trashy viral Netflix series is gay okay?

These days Dillon appears to be living in Florida and yes, he’s still married to Joe Exotic. While Dillon shares pics of tigers on his Instagram profile you won’t find any mention of Joe Exotic. He actually explains this in a comment under one of his vids – “I’m still married to joe but my social media platform isn’t used for any joe things.”
Okay so now for the good stuff. Visually, Dillon really is all that and a bag of dicks, and blessedly he posts tons of sexy shirtless pics on Instagram.
